Fishing Without A Reel

The package showed up in the mail — unexpected. I opened it and found a beautiful box with the picture of a trout stenciled on the side. The name on the package said Tenkara Rod Company.
"Wow, I thought. What is this?"
I investigated further, opening it up to find a beautiful, 12’ Sawtooth Tenkara Rod complete with soft and hard cases as well as a chest pack and belt pack. Inside the packs were a selection of tenkara flies, a furled line, and a spool of 5x tippet.
